The best part of my sleeve: Having no hunger.

The worst part of my sleeve: Having no hunger.

Don't get me wrong, I love that I don't really have cravings, that I don't feel ravenous when someone even mentions the word "pizza," or that I don't feel the need to wolf down double portions on a regular basis. I LOVE this...Monday through Friday.

During the week, I have a routine, I eat at appropriate meal times, I have an afternoon snack, I get all of my Protein in without even thinking.

On the weekend, I have no schedule. I stay up late, sleep late, spend the day running around with friends and family, and because I never feel hungry, there is no trigger for me to eat, so I struggle to get in all of my protein.

Apart developing a schedule, does anyone else experience this? What do you do? Do you have tricks for reminding yourself to eat?

Thanks!

I heard there are Iphone apps that remind you to drink your Water and to eat your meals. I personally do not have an Iphone so these apps do not help me out.

Maybe you should carry around a Protein Bar on the weekends and have an alarm on your cell that will remind you to eat if you have forgotten.

I have not had the sleeve (as of yet) but I do remember some of these suggestions from the boards awhile back.

Hope this helps.

Lily

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
