weight loss promotes travel : )

When at my heaviest I tended to stay home and do nothing. Now that I've lost a bit of weight (about half-way to goal) I'm finding I want to go out and DO things, iow, to LIVE life to it's fullest. Heck, I've even taken up hiking. Pre-weightloss possumtrot would *never* have done that. :thumbup1:

This pic. is from a little while back when we took a 4,000 mile vacation out west (I drove to the top of Pike's Peak and earned my tee shirt that says "Real Women Don't Need Guardrails", lol). Man-o-man, it was *fun* after the scary part was over. It was very breezy up top of the peak and I sure was glad to have my old coat with me but it was eye-opening to see how much too big it was! I had to clutch it around me because the wind was blowing up it and I had no protection from the cold. So guess who is getting a new coat this winter? :glare:

So for those struggling, keep the faith and keep living life to the fullest.

Have a great day all! :)

We were 14,110 feet up...got a little dizzy from the altitude but drank half a liter of Water and was good to go back down.

I had forgotten how much fun I have when I go out and DO things instead of sitting around promoting fat exansion when I was heavier.

Still have about 50 lbs to go so Look Out World when I get to goal! I'm planning a trip to China to Celebrate getting to goal weight. ; )

What do y'all plan to do to Celebrate getting to goal?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
