Boo! I'm so sore!

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved offically at 8 o'clock Thursday morning. Yay! I haven't had may problems just so, so sore. I got some pain medicine, but when does it get better? Thanks for your help in advance.

Actually, I don't remember being sore at all. The only time I took pain medicine was the first couple of days to help me sleep at night. Try a heating pad on your tummy, that worked really well.

Day 2 is bad.....and slowly gets better after that, as long as you don't push things too hard (and you'll know it quickly). You might have a few small set backs, but take it easy for the rest of that day (no using stomach muscles) and it will be better again by the next day.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. ;) I probably need to take it a little slower. I'm laying in bed with an ice pack on the incision. Everyone day it does get a little better. :)

Thanks again!

Suzette

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
