Recommended Posts

OK vsg family! My divorce has been final for a year now! Just found out my first love got married and I'm a little sad! I wished him the best anyway! I am so ready to have the surgery to start a new beginning and be happy. I have a 3 year son with a very very partime dad! I'm ready for change y'all. Is this crazy letting the sleeve represent a new beginning for me

I have read several times that one of the biggest misconceptions people have about WLS, is that it will solve all of their problems. It can change your life is a big way, which is great. But, just be aware that it can't change everything.

It's a new beginning for your health. It can be a huge boost for your self esteem. You'll have increased energy. You'll likely be more motivated because of the above. So I think it's fair to say it's going to give you a new beginning. The journey and the ending is up to you.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
