Full Liquid Diet suggestions please....

Recommended Posts

Hello! I had my surgery Monday, ...and soon I will be on the Full liquid Diet. I know that I can have:

- Cream Soups (I'll be eating a lot of Tomato soup!)

- Hot cocoa

- I will still be able to eat the broths from the liquid diet

What are some other things that I can have on the Full liquid diet?

(P.S....I don't like Cream of Wheat)

i googled vertical sleeve gastrectomy diet and several came up, all very similar, one from mayo Clinic, one from Louisiana State University, one from Cornell Weight Loss Center, they have diets for every stage starting with the preop all the way thru, good luck jeani

If you have access to a Whole Foods or something like it there is no need to have only Tomato and potato as your thick liquid Soup options. Today I came home with butternut squash, tomato basil, spicy black bean, and french onion with the onions strained out. Can you tell I'm tired of broth? =)

I picked up butternut squash Soup, Tomato bisque, sweet potato soup, tomato basil...everything that I could find that was creamy...from Harris Teeter. I'm sure that whole foods and trader joes have the same things though.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
