how long did you stay in the hospital?

i'm going from a lapband to a sleeve in a few weeks.

when i had the band put in, i went home the same day. my doctor mentioned that i would be spending the night at the hospital once my surger was done and would get to go home the next day.

i've seen posts where people have said they stayed 2 or 3 days....

so im just curious how long was your hospital stay?

I was in 2 1/2 days. Which is just about right. I dislike hospitals, and recuperate better at home.

I did mine outpatient, but most people stay ~1 night.

4 nights. I went home the evening of day 5. In hindsight I think I needed to be there that long. I had prolonged bleeding from the largest incision and was given a blood transfusion. It still bled profusely for a couple of days at home.
