I was doing so good until a couple of weeks ago.

I fell and broke my ankle and had to have surgery and a plate put in my ankle.

Now I am off my foot for at least 8 more weeks. There goes my walking. Granted I never was into ex cerise but I was really being good about walking. Now that is totally out.

I have not been able to get on a scale for a couple of weeks, plus all this stuff on my foot and leg I would weigh more anyway.

I feel like I am eating right and not much at all but sitting all this time I feel like everything is going straight to my butt.

Well I guess I will find out tomorrow. I go for my 6 week follow up with Dr. Nick.

:lol0:

Unfortunately life doesn't stop just because we have wls hun. Accidents happen and sometimes you have to get over one thing before you can concentrate on another.

Rest your ankle and you will, hopefully be able to start walking again before too long. xx

Shy Lady: I know it has to be hard with the broken ankle but I looked at your stats....you are doing incredibly well....relax, maybe it will be a little slower than you would like, let yourself heal, give yourself permission to watch tv, read a book, don't worry about the exercise....you will get better, you will be fantastic. Good luck.

You are doing great and I bet you will lose while you are off of your feet. I severed a tendon a year ago (before my sleeve) and my weight dropped unexpectedly. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised. If not...hey you will lose this weight, step by step is what I tell myself every day.

Make sure you hang in there with your Protein so you can heal quickly. It'll be okay. Good luck to you!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
