Finally - stall is broken

Recommended Posts

WOOHOO! I broke my 3 week stall! Only by 1 pound but I broke it. Since I had gotten out of the hospital with the complicatons I bounced from 203 to 204. Today I was 202.0!

I realized that I was not eating enough calories. My carb intake stays pretty close to 30. My Protein is hitting 50-65. But I'm lucky if I hit 500 calories. It seems the stuff that has the best protein doesnt have many calories. I could add a Protein Bar in there but then my carbs would skyrocket. Does anyone else have this problem ?

Try Jay Robb chocolate whey Protein shake. With one cup of lactaid fat free milk, it is 33 grams Protein and 190 calories.

Laughing Cow cheese wedges, four tiny wedges throughout the day for Snacks will add 10 gms of protein and 140 calories!

Get 600-800 calories, 70 or more gms protein and at least 65 ounces of fluids will give you the best wt loss. Below that, the body does not like to shake it off for some reason. Congratulations of breaking the stall!

I had a stall 3 weeks out and then I started losing again. Now this past week I gained 1 pound and then I had another stall. I am hoping that I will get back down below what weighed on Jan. 22. Maybe in 1-2 days I will be there. My weight was 204.2 on Jan. 22. I am trying to get more Protein in and I need to pay more attention to how many calories I am getting in each day. I have not been counting calories in the 7 weeks since surgery. I had surgery on Dec.22 and I have lost 28 pounds since surgery. ( I lost 34 pounds from

July 1 until Dec. 1 before surgery.) I just try to stay positive and keep coming on here for advice and support from other sleevers. I wish everyone all the best on your journeys!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
