:thumbup:Hi all! I've been missing in action for a while. Just wanted to update. I'm about 3 months and 1 week out. I've now lost 67 lbs. Started at 250 now at 183. Finally bought a size 14 this weekend. Haven't seen that in about 15 years. It hasn't been easy, I've worked my tail off, but I know I could never had done this without the sleeve. I've worked this hard many times before only to loose 5 lbs and regain 8 after a "bad" weekend.

So, no regrets! My biggest problem now is controlling my shopping addiction.

I am wondering if there are any side effects to the surgery. Congrats on your wt. loss.

As far as the shopping addiction I totally understand. Good Luck. Just buy a few things for each size, sounds like you are losing too fast to get a good wardrobe for long term right now. And use consignment store to recoup some money after you outgrow, unless your Dr. office has a clothing exchange.

EXCELLENT job!!! I'm right there with you on the clothing addiction. I've sort of always had a problem, but I see it growing worse each weekend.

For the most part I stick to the rules: no drinking 30 before/after, Protein, protein, more protein, no liquid calories and I exercise 5-6 days a week. Part of the weight loss did include 13 pounds lost during the pre-op.

I see your surgery is on Friday. Congratulations!

It is definately not the "easy" way out but I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
