Thanks for the reassurance Lan2K and Carolyn I thought I would be able to handle it.

@ VegasAngel I was planning to use Dr. Almanza, however, I'm going to switch to Dr. Aceves partially because of this reason. I'm going to call Nina right away and see if they have any specials coming up...I was hoping to save some money for my new wardrobe after losing the weight.

NJSleever... I'm keeping you in my prayers. I do know what it is like I have awful veins and be stuck a million times. I have had to get an anesthesiologist just to get my IV's in because nurses have such a bad time with them. sometimes they will just numb my arm first, its that bad.

You will love Dr. Aceves and the hospital, and all the nurses. They treat you like royalty there. I loved it there. I loved how Sergio (one of the nurses) came in and visited me several times every day asking if there was anything at all that he could do to make me more comfortable. Then he went and got Dr. Campos' cell phone and lap top for me to use. Dr. Aceves and Dr. Campos also come to see you 3 times per day. It's great there!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
