Walking shoes? Lucky you. We're still in wellies here in the UK!!! Took my dogs out for 2&1/2 hours yesterday and although the smaller pair were giving me 'that' look that told me they thought that I had gone a bit far (literally) the bigger re-home bitch was still going strong. I keep telling them that seeing as we have the best park (Bushy Park, right across the road from Hampton Court Palace) for dogs five minutes walk from home we might as well use it. I would never walk that far and for that long before my sleeve. Ain't life grand with all these little but really, really important NSVspost-266130-14594928925911_thumb.jpg

oh yes. Lucky me in April! Tennessee is gorgeous now! but I've spent some time in England in July and it is magnificent! I have had many happy rambles in the midlands area. :-)

Darn dog ran away again this morning, but I did walk her yesterday afternoon.

Oh, and we ended up at Six Flags on a whim and I didn't even think twice about getting on any of the rides, even though they had the fat girl warnings.

The last time I got on a plane is August I could barely fit the seat belt. I had to suck it in I was embarrassed. Just got on a plane last week and had no problems

Changed a heap of light globes and screwed four smoke alarms onto our very high ceilings. I was up and down the ladder all morning. And then it hit me...I have been up and down a ladder all day like it was absolutely nothing. I could never have managed that 100lbs ago.

I was laying in the bath and felt this bone sticking out of my chest. I was totally freaked out as it was protruding so much and was definitely not there before. It was the bottom of my sternum. [emoji23]

Last weekend I visited Hersheypark in PA. I went in every single coaster. Easily.

Last year on one of them, the attendant had to come push down on the restraints to get me in and I was mortified and it was heartbreaking to me (we have season passes, so it was a lot of bench sitting while my family was in line/on rides) I LOVE coasters

Anyway last weekend, and 81 lbs less, I got back in line FIRST for that one that I was so embarrassed on last summer. Walked on. EASILY got restraints on place and had a blast. I felt amazing and my teenage kids were beside themselves happy that I could go with them again.

I'm over the moon. What a difference in only 6 months!!! Best decision I ever made for myself.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
