Does anyone know what happens to the vagus nerve when you get a sleeve?

I've never heard it mentioned in relation to a vsg. I don't think it's an issue. Of course, I'm not a doctor so don't take my word on it.

all I know is when I got my first fill four week ago, I just about passed out. The doctor told me it was because the Vegus nerve had pressure on it., is the reason I got so dizzy. Had to look it up - but it really did a number on me. Had a second fill this week with no problems.

I've heard that about fills.

The thing is, the vagus nerve is on top of your stomach. So if they cut off the top, then they have to cut it, right?

A lot of people report being very hungry the first two weeks and I was wondering if that was part of the problem. That's the nerve that signals that your stomach has stretched out a bit in response to food.

MacM: I know you wrote this question some time ago regarding the Vague nerve - can you tell me why you were wondering about this? I had VSG and am wondering about the Vague nerve issue too. Thanks.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
