Alternatives to Eating...

Recommended Posts

As we all know, head hunger can create havoc and it takes determination to get control over it. When I am off from work, the late afternoon is usually the time I occasionally experience this.

To not give into the head hunger, I am looking for other alternatives. The ones that work include, taking a walk and doing needlework which is something I enjoy but had not done in awhile. It keeps me focused and my hands are full so I can't eat. LOL.

Another thing I enjoy is going to Barnes & Noble, getting a coffee, and looking through the diet and fitness books and magazines. This is a treat that gives me some quiet "me" time away from everyone and lasts about 45 min to an hour. I learn and relax at the same time.

What are other people doing?

Well, hey, when you're done with your house - you wanna come and clean mine wonderwoman?

I spend alot of time on the computer (too much) and it's hard to eat and type, so that's an option ... another, like you, is needlework and walking.

Will be interesting to see what others come up with as well.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
