I plan on going camping soon and I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on band friendly food I could take on the camping trip?

I carry Atkins or South Beach Protein Bars with my everywhere I go. I also carry canned chicken and canned Tomato Soup. That way I never have an excuse for eating the wrong foods because the right ones are not available to me. Any foods that you can comfortably eat that are good for you and don't require refrigeration would be good choices for you.

depends on what you will have available.. refrigeration? cooler? are you planning to cook ? I pretty much have turkey sausage and eggbeaters for breakfast.. if all else fails take some good high Protein Shakes or drinks with you. I also use Protein bars if I am where I can't cook. greek yogurt is always a good food to keep your protein level up.. cheese sticks, sometimes Jerky if you can tolerate it.. any kind of Soup or even chili would work as well.. have fun..

No fridge and yes a cooler and I'm sure we will have a fire for cooking. We are going camping with a tent. No cellphones or bathrooms lol. Going bow hunting for deer on a island that the ferry only runs 4x daily lol.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
