Hey Guys,

Hope all is recovering well and getting used to the new life style change and mind set change. I am having trouble with my mind telling me that I am still hungry even though I am not. Not having real food is starting to kill me but I am nearing the time where I can add some soft foods...a couple more weeks. Until then, these mashed potatoes are tasting so heavenly.

When is everyone getting their 1st fill. Mine is October 18th and I am so nervous and excited. I was told by his assistant that I will probably start on 1 cc and the go from there. I'm ready for a fill. Even tho I am not eating, I am still drinking a lot of Protein Shakes and apple sauce and mashed potatoes and apple sauce...sooo I just feel that I am eating "too much".

How is every one doing?

I was also still sore 3 days post. I think I started feeling better about 4 or 5 days pay. I did not have plication. And my band is not filled yet so now that I'm getting in to "real"foods I'm getting more hungry. u can't wait for my first fill. I hope you get to feeling better.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
