800 calories a day?

Recommended Posts

I started eating 700-850 calories per day. I found myself feeling a little bit less energetic than i was used to. I now just try to keep it under 1,000 calories per day. I found myself losing a little faster when i was closer to 850-900 calories/day (might not be the same for everyone). Hope this helps! :D

Low range diets <1000 cals should really be for those not working out. I eat in the 800-900 range because I do not workout and need to compensate w/ cals. However, if you are active you may just need a 100-300 cal boost depending on your activity level

I do quite a heavy workout every day so I try to stay around 1000 since I burn 900+ in my workout. My doctor suggest between 1000 and 1200 a day.

I do zumba 5 days a week, plus a spinning class 3 days and 1 hour weight training 4 days and I swim for an hour on the days I do not do weights. I spend about 3 & 1/2 hours working out everyday. They want me to cut back but it's hard I have been doing this for nearly 3 years now. I do not want to gain back any weight that is why I got banded after losing 176 pounds. I just can't do that to my body. I do work with a trainer twice a week he keeps me on my toes!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
