Laser treatment for lose skin ??

Recommended Posts

Strange question I had a X-ray tech tell me she had laser treatments and it help to tighten her lose skin after WLS. I was so nervous about the cardiogram she was performing I didn't ask more questions. Did anyone hear of this? She said it looks as though she goes to the gym and she doesn't go. I'm just curious . I kno even with working out my thighs will definitely need to be lifted as well as my tummy and arms n I'm sure a boob lift too :). I'm only 1 month out of surgery but I'm preparing for the new me . I have already planned that my 40 present will be reconstructive surgery.

XXXXXX WRONG!

Lasers for skin tightening are utilized for aging/sagging skin. Think small sags (ie face/neck). And even those are not as effective as they claim. The amount of leftover skin you get from major wl will not be effected by laser treatments. The reality is major cosmetic surgery is warranted for those who want to take the next step into transforming their bodies beyond wl.

Hi Hazelbliss, I did not know that. I have seen ads for this type of surgery. I guess if I want to lose the extra skin and wrinkles I have it will be via surgery. Not to sure I want to go that route. Thank you for posting this info.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
