Ok. So 2 times today and 1 time yesterday I have gotten a slow burning pain between my chest right above the bottom of my sternum. Is this heartburn? (I never experienced heartburn before)

Any reason this might happen. I read before heartburn can mean your band is too tight howeverrrr I only have 1 cc in my band (havent had a fill yet only 4 weeks out) so that doesnt make sense.

It has happened when I ate

- an apple w/peanut butter

- ground beef with cheese

I learned real quick not to eat 1 cup of solid food at a time. So I ate 3/4 cause 1/2 usually isnt enough.

The pain in bothersome but not terrible. Its dull and lingering.

I think you and I are band buddies (6/20). I don't seem to be having heartburn, but I get a sick to my stomach feeling a few times a week. It usually happens around a meal time and then I don't want to eat anything. Weird experiences!!

I haven't had a fill yet and get the same thing. I have it almost all the time and figured it was the band?

Yay for band buddies!! I always like to find people who are banded on the same day as me so I can see where others are at and their experiences.

I have had the sick feeling too and its hard to tell if it hunger sick or just sick... I have gotten truly sick once since being banded and I did not want to eat at all. I finally settled with mashed potatoes.

Sounds like you might have eaten to fast or to big. I think it's the band your feeling then it passes through.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
