Exercise Today

Recommended Posts

I have been doing cardio for the past two years, without losing much weight. I was banded on 6/22 and could not wait to exercise again. At my 3-week follow-up on 7/11, the doc gave me the "go-ahead" to resume exercise.

So far, I've done (5x per week):

45 minutes of cardio (recumbent bike/elliptical)

15 minutes of dancing (hip-hop)

It's a start. Yay!

:clap2: :clap2: WELCOME DIVANITA:clap2: :clap2:

OOOOOOOOH,

NICE DIVANITA!

Welcome to the exercise thread and that's awesome work girlfriend! I love Hip Hop dancing

Allz I gotz ta say Tricia is...

HMPH!!!!

*Telly shines her military boot with her towel....

Peering over across the screen, she has Tricia's ass in sight. Telly runs..swiftly without a sound.. over to Tricia and as she moves in on her... begins to twirl her towel that she used to shine her boot....suddenly.... *POP, POP, POP, POP* .....in the same ass cheek. Tricia yelps painfully*

Mall walked this morning....about 3.5 miles in just under an hour.

Logged 10 miles tonight on the bike....in again...just under an hour...which on a Mtn Bike...isn't bad for my 3rd night out.

I ate perfectly today...clean, no added salt or sauces, 50% Protein, 35% Carbs and 15% fat intake.

If I don't lose weight tomorrow....I'm breaking something.

:heh:

Thank you, ma'am. May I have another? :biggrin1:

Seriously though, if it weren't for the rain storm we've been having the last 4-5 hours, I'd be outside jogging. I'll ride my recumbant bike later. I promise.

Alright, to make up for my slacking earlier today, I rode my recumant bike for 5 miles, which is the most I've ever ridden. BBL, after I take a shower...I'm sweating buckets!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
