Advice on how to tighten that dreaded loose skin...

Recommended Posts

I have seen many awesome before and "after" pictures here on this site and as I am losing weight (down 50 now) what do you recommend to tighten my stomach area? I'm in my late 20s so I am hoping that I can bounce back, ha! I do have 4 kids- and one of those being a twin pregnancy. So, I am totallly ok with the stretch marks and slight saggy-ness, just wanting to try what I can to eliminate what I see in the mirror. (I'm still waiting for my brain to catch up to my progress!!)

Gain the weight back! JUST KIDDING! Lol. Exercise, time, and good hydration are the best advice that I can offer. I think a lot of people here share similar frustration with the excess skin. I think that's why many choose to have the skin removed.

I worry about the same thing but the way I see it I will be using push up bras and Spanx to support me. I also was thinking about those waist like belts you wear post pregnancy pregnancy to help w your back and get stuff to go back right, my mum wore one after her bypass and she lost well over 100+ lbs and she said it helped a lot. I hope someone answers this though.

I second the wrapping. Other than staying hydrated not sure there is much else.

you can buy these crazy wraps...They detox your body while toning, firming, tighten the area you apply them to...Here is my web site you can go on and check them out...www.jblitch.myitworks.com...sign as a loyal customer and save lots of money...and I am not just pushing the wraps but I also am a lapbander (3-27-13) I have used them and there is a difference... Don't trust me try for your self...Good Luck...But on top of it all LOTS of Water....

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
