Almost the months out from surgery and really no issues at all.

Today i started having a kind of a weird pain at my port incision....but my port is about five inches south of my scar. I also burped for the first time since before surgery.

Now I'm worried that i might be slipped. Any suggestions or are these normal occurrences? Any input? Would a slip have any feel?

I have port pain from time to time for no reason. It just gets tender for a day or two. Doctor told me it was normal. As for it slipping, if you have been following the rules your chances of it being a slip is slim. If you haven't then it might put your mind at ease to schedule an appointment. But usually a slip will generate more serious symptoms like vomiting. But it never hurts to check in with the doc, that's what they are there for.

Good luck.

Its not really port pain. My incision is high on my stomach and my port is five inches away and sits in my waist.

I know that i eat too large of portions and I'm working on getting that under control. Just concerned about this twingy thing because its new. Nothing like this in three months since getting my band and I'm wondering if I've caused a slip or maybe stretched my stomach?

I don't know what this would feel like. Everything else I've read about slips people talk about acid Redux and poison and inability to eat.

I'm not in pain or vomiting or anything. I'll ask my surgeon next week.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
