4.5 ccs for a first fill?

Recommended Posts

Got my first fill this past Monday... I said I was feeling zero restriction at all since I was no longer sore, so I was given 4.5 ccs in my 14 cc band... is this common/normal? Just wondering because people seem to have a lot less...

My first fill I was given 3.5cc & two weeks later I was still having no restriction and gained 2lbs in 2 weeks so I got another fill. I have ALOT more restriction. I believe I'm at about 5cc in a 10cc band now.

Mine was 5 cc on my first fill, then .75 cc on my second and no fill for my 3rd appointment.

My doc tried to do 3.5 CC, but I freaked out when the Water he gave me to drink didn't go down right away. So he removed a little. I wish I had gotten 4.5 CC as that is pretty much where I'm at after the second fill and still not feeling any restriction. Appetite seems to be the same as pre surgery.

I'm not going to be a wimp in the future. As long as liquids go down, they can put as much saline in me as they think is appropriate.

But, I have to say, that fill you got does seem rather large for a first fill. Personally, I think they are doing you a service though by not wasting your time.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
