I got my third fill yesterday and drank the Water he gave me with no problem. I got home and had broth for dinner and are about 7 or 8 spoonfuls before I was very full. I went to bed almost in tears because of the discomfort I was feeling. This morning, I woke up and drank about 2 oz of water before driving to school. I had to pull over to throw up, and then I had to throw up again as I was walking into the bldg. that was about 3 hours ago and I'm still very uncomfortable and constantly feeling like I need to throw up. I haven't even been able to drink any Protein Shake. Is this normal?!

I wouldn't call it normal, but its not unheard of to be tight after an adjustment for a few days. ( vomiting should never be considered normal ) Sometimes, you read on here where it happens up to a couple of weeks after the adjustment. Since you were able to drink "with no problem" at the office, It MAY be just some irritation/swelling from getting the fill. While you certainly don't want to risk becoming dehydrated, it may get better by this afternoon/evening to allow you to drink Clear Liquids. Best wishes.

when I had my 1st fill last week, the doc said to me "if you throw up in the parking lot or in the next 24 hrs on liquids come right back in". So based on what the doc told me, you should at least call him to see what he says.

I would say it doesn't sound "normal" to me. You may need a slight unfill, but I would call the doctor. Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
