Tomorrow's the day

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone!

Tomorrow morning is my big day. My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. and I am not even nervous, just excited. Although, I think my hubby is more than nervous enough for the both of us.

I just wanted to take a moment to post and say that although I have never met any of you, I am so thankful for each and everyone of you. I have learned more about the band, what to expect, how to handle different things that may happen, etc. from you wonderful people on this board than I am sure any doctor could have ever told me. It is through your support and advice that I am able to feel so confident in my decision to get banded. I only hope I can be as helpful to future bandsters as each of you have been to me.

Thank you so much. :grouphug:

Awesome! Another new kid on the block! *grins*

Be sure to check in when you can and let us know how things went. We will all be thinking about you and sending up prayers for an easy recovery. When you get home, we will be here waiting to welcome you to bandland!

And Jack is absolutely right! TODAY is the day! Make it count!

Good luck Susan! You will be in band land before you know it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
