Graduate to my shoes tomorrow!

Hey everyone! I am just so excited that I had to share! Tomorrow I will be two weeks post op. I go to my follow up at 10. I am getting my staples removed ( thank God!) and I will be graduating to my mushies! I can't wait!

Stupid auto correct --- the title was suppose to say graduating to mushies! Lol

LOL... I read graduate to my shoes and wondered HUH? Now I get it! Good luck!

Lol I was wondering, have to love autocorrect

I was thinking oh poor dear she hasn;t been able to wear shoes? I know I have graduated from crocs to real shoes since losing 30 lbs.. but I couldn;t figure out why she couldn;t wear shoes... lol anyway congrats on mushies,, it just gets better after that...

oh I just noticed you said having your staples removed? what kind of incision did your dr do? I didn;'t have anything that required staples.. my port site was the largest incision it was about 1 " and had a steri strip on it.. that;s it...

LOL, I got the auto correct, but confused on the staples. Really don't know anyone who had staples.

Congrats on moving up the wl ladder.

Haha... I thought you were rewarding yourself with a new pair of shoes!!

I had staples too. Once again every surgeon is different. 5 incisions 4 with 2 staples each and 8 or 10 in the big one. Getting them out was nothing. I could have done it myself with a pair of needle nosed pliers.

Oh man this topic thread had me cracking up! LOL for real! Thank you everyone for your witty replies! Laughter is great for the soul! Auto correct is a pain but it sure is good for a laugh now and then.

Congrats on the mushy phase!! Best wishes!!

Oh man I have been cracking up reading all of your responses! Thank you all for the laughs! Yeah my surgeon used staples an I have 4 incisions with a total of 15 staples. They are just irritating my skin.

I found out at the doctors today that I have lost 23 lbs total since starting my journey! And I had chicken salad for lunch and I am now having refried beans for dinner. These things have never tasted so good before!
