  4. I get both of my VitaFusions at Walmart. The Womens Multi might be a little difficult to find. But they should have the regular adult gummy and the calcium in stock. I hope you can find them!
  5. Hi Everyone! I am almost 5 weeks post-op and I am cleared to move onto to soft foods. I want to be able to go out to eat this weekend for a birthday celebration for myself and my mom. I met with my nutritionst today and she said I could absolutely eat out, to stick to fish or chicken dishes. My questions to all of you is what chain restaurant have you successfully eaten out at, and what menu item did you order and enjoy? Thank you for your input!
  6. I made the best mushie stage recipe. I have made it multiple times for myself! Buffalo chicken salad 1 can chunk chicken breast, drained 1T light mayo or light Miracle Whip 1 wedge Laughing Cow Blue cheese Light Pepper to taste 1-2T Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce (to taste) Put all ingredients in blender/food processor until smooth. So yummy!
  7. Please add me too. I use it religiously everyday. My username is SSallah15. Thanks!
  8. Hello everyone! I was banded on March 7th and started mushies on March 21st. For the next 10 days the scale either stayed the same, and then even went up. However, a week ago it started going down again and is now falling rapidly. Most days its between .6 and 1.0 per day! Hang in there and it will start moving again. I am getting ready to transition to soft foods, and I have a feeling it will happen again for me.
  9. Mine was the same as yours. Starts two weeks post op and lasts for two weeks. At my next appointment I get to go to soft foods!

  11. Hely, you bring the chili home and blend/puree it. I have done this twice now and it is soooo good. Such a change from the other things that I have been eating.

  13. Wow I read all the way through these posts and my surgeon is WAY more conservative with his drinking rules. I am not supposed to drink anything until 2 hours after eating! I can drink almost up until a meal though.
  14. So I had to post this somewhere! I am still in mushies(pureed) stage. I made a fabulous buffalo chicken salad! So yummy! Recipe: 1 can of chicken breast chunks, drained 1 wedge of Laughing Cow Light Blue cheese flavor 1 T of light Miracle Whip or Light Mayo Pepper to taste 1-2 T of Franks Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce (to taste) Throw all ingredients into food processor and blend until smooth!

  18. I found out at the doctors today that I have lost 23 lbs total since starting my journey! And I had chicken salad for lunch and I am now having refried beans for dinner. These things have never tasted so good before!
