I don't know if anyone has done a thread like this before, but I was wondering if anyone else gave their band a name?

Mine is called 'Elpeatha', which is the Greek name for hope. I'm hoping very much she and I will make this relationship work to my advantage!

Yep, this thread has been done, but it was a long time ago. Mine is called "Thang". My DH always refers to that thang I had done.

Nope haven't named my band (or any other body parts for that matter) ... but cars?? Oh yeah we could talk about that --- but that would be thread hi-jacking, and I won't do it!

My husband has nicknames for everyone and everything....he refers to the grandkids as Sally if they are crying or whiny...he tells them "cry baby Sally sittin in the Alley", makes them quit fussing and laugh at him singing. He refers to them as "Paula Punk", anything to tease them. Our son, when he was a teenager, he would call him Billy because he (DS) thought he was Billy Badass. So the other night DH told me he was gonna call my band Billy....

Billy Bandass. The man may need psychiatric help????!!!!

Here is one post on the subject...http://lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=12506&highlight=naming+band

But yes, I've named my little band. Her name is Katrinka, but we call her Trink. Her name came from the image I got when Jack called his band a little silicon fist. That made me think of a little tiny petulant ballerina so I went with a Russian ballerina sounding name. Thus Katrinka was born.

The few people in my life that know I had surgery know her as Trink...and it's funny, they talk in Trink terms. Like the other day, my sis had a good meal and she and her hubby were saying "yuum, Trink would like this!"

My boyfriend is forever asking me "Is Trink happy? Is Trink feeling ok?" and we refer to certain foods that work well as Trink food or Trink friendly.

I figure if Trink is going to ride around in my body, we may as well be friends!

I'm thinking of calling mine "Tunnel Rat". We heard a talk today... if you've been banging your head against a wall for forever & the wall isn't dented, then find another way to win! Why not try the tunnel!

The band is my secret tunnel! But since I don't wanna be talking about my rat, lol, I'll have to find something else to call it!

Mine is the "Silicone Freeloader" - as I sometimes fear it is NOT doing its part to carry the weight, so to speak.

I call mine Maxine after my previous boss. Some days she was in a good mood and everything was great. Other days she was in a bad mood and everything sucked. So Maxine it is.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
