Give her the contact info for your surgeon, between the two of them they will figure it out.

i basically asked my insurance (what they needed)

and wrote out a brief synop to my pcd....and also wrote out a detailed info sheet on me for my last 5 to 10 yrs of dieting ups/downs/etc with details. my pcd then wrote her (letter) of recommendation from that....

My pcm just wrote a few lines, he showed it to me before he printed it out. He mentioned my having failed the 6 month diet, my starting and finishing weight for the 6 months, my bmi, my elevated cholesterol and he finished by saying I was an excellent candidate for wls and that he recommended it. Best Wishes :)

This is what she wrote:

"Dear Colleague,

This patient was seen in our office on Tuesday feb 26/2013 for a complete physical and found to be in good health and fit for surgery.

She suffers from morbid obesity and polycystic ovarian disease causing her infertility and depression. Her obesity also puts her at risk or the development of diabetes and heart disease. She has tried numerous methods of weight loss including liposuction and intragastric ballon treatment. It is my professional opinion that she would benefit from bariatric surgery to help control her weight."

Then there's my vital signs of today and somehow they measured me 1 inch higher lol which made my bmi be 39.93 (I already called and she is going to fix that tomorrow).

Do you guys think is enough? She havent mentioned about my priors attempts as ww, nutritionist. Ugh...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
