If I could keep liquids down I would evaluate my eating. Bit size, amount of chewing and time between bits. This is still something I slip up on, very easy to go back to old habits.

I would try a meal cutting my food even smaller that I was, focus on really chewing and time a minute between bits. If I still pb'd after that meal I would go for an unfill.

If I was having issues with liquids, I wouldn't wait, I'd call my doctor immediately for an unfill.

That's what I would do. Good luck.

Personally I wouldnt wait 2 wks to see the dr and get his opinion....in Two weeks you could do some damage to your band if you are throwing up. I would the office and ask some questions.

In the meantime If you think you are taking too big of a bite then you may be so try taking smaller bites and checking everything to the consistency of applesauce .... But still ck with the dr. ;)

bits should be the size of your pinky finger nail...try a day of soft food and liquids then slowly add other food but VERY small pre cutting food is a great idea I learned that one the hard way.

When things are that bad go back to see the doc. A little taken out could make a huge difference in how you feel.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
