So proud of myself right now :-)

OK I just have to share. This is a very small victory but a victory still. I have been on my pre op diet since January 16th and its been going pretty well. I figured I made it past the hardest part with great success so it should be smooth sailing until banding on the 30th. WRONG!! yesterday I was craving everything... ice cream, pizza, chocolate, you name it I wanted it. My son had m&m's and I considered just one (what could it hurt right?lol). Now here comes my proud moment.....I MADE IT THROUGH THE WHOLE DAY WITHOUT CHEATING!!! Yaaaay! Like I said....a small victory for most but to me it was like climbing Mt Everest. Today I am back to feeling good about things and so far no cravings. I know there will be many more days like yesterday in my new future but I now feel confident I can get through them and still be here the next day to feel proud again. Thanks for listening to me "brag"!! :-)

Way to go. Love reading stories like this. Mt Everst will be an ant hill when you get done with it.

Good luck on your upcoming surgery. You are going to do great!

A victory is a victory, no matter how big or how small! It made me chuckle to think how much power that one little M&M has! It so easily could have slipped right in and no one would have known but you! LOL..Thats a huge step, you showed your accountable to yourself! That's a real good sign your going to be successful and accountable for your own journey! It takes some of us a much longer time to learn this! Your already a step ahead!

Thank you to everyone! It makes me feel so good to read all of the comments. I am overwhelmed by all the love and support here. I have read so many of your stories and feel so inspired by all of you. I know I will be successful with my journey and feel great knowing we are all here for the same reason supporting each other. I have a bunch of support from friends and family but I don't know anyone personally who has gone through this and could truly understand! Thanks again!! 6 days until the new banded me!!

Sounds "Huge" to me. Keep up the good work.
