Does it ever freak you out?

Thank you all for your input and support. I've heard people either completely fall in love with their band, or they hate it. I really want to love mine. I know this is just the beginning. I am seeing a therapist. It's been a rough road with all of the family drama, but in my heart I believe I made the right choice...

With God's help, an individual(s) discovered the band. He allowed it to be successful and helpful to lot's of people. I'm not freaked and never felt it as a foreign object but a "tool" which will probably save my life.

Best wishes

That foreign object is helping you lose weight. NO different from artificial hip' date=' knees, etc. Nothing to freak about. Learn to use the tool you now have![/quote']

Thank you for this perspective. Artificial hip etc had not crossed my mind. Makes it easier to accept.

i think sometimes the band doesnt work for whatever reason, and the person hates the band...but the ones who have success love their bands because it has gave them (me) their life back. but one must help the band by using it correctly. i think to myself, i got a tool to help me..as i can now touch my side where my port is, and touch that little hard spot and know i got this..

i never looked back from june 6th.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
