I was wondering if u all could give me examples of your daily food intake and kinds of meals. I've only lost 50 pounds in 7 months. I think I'm eating right it's the same as when I was losing just smaller portions. I eat 900 to 1100 cals a day with 90g Protein and burn 800ish cals aday. I am losing some in inches but only around an inch at three measure points and I'm a guy so I just figured I would have lost more by now. Am I asking to much or am I doing fine. Please respond thanks so much

Sounds like you're doing ALL the right things. I'd suggest that you increase your calorie intake some as your body will go into starvation mode, as a result, you won't lose any weight. Additionally, I'd strongly suggest that you measure yourself. Often times, you reach a plateau and don't see pounds come off, however, inches are dropping.

At one point, I found that I stayed at 170lbs (for over 6 months) and went from a size 12 pant to a size 8 maintaing the same weight. I was losing fat and gaining muscle which I'm told weighs more. Hang in there, sounds like you're definitely on the right track.

I say eat more. With that much exercise your body needs fuel.

I agree... with the high exercise you need more calories going in. If you have a nutritionist check in.

I would check with your dr to see if you should up your calories a bit. You will lose weight at what you are doing but it may be that your body is burning too many to be productive.

Call, email and call again... If the docs nutritionist won't get back to you, be sure and get ahold of the doctor! Bet you get a response then :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
