Hopefully My Last Fill....

Recommended Posts

A year and 5 month ago I started this journey of loosing weight. I lost 88 pounds in 9 months and got really sick nothing to do with the band..... because of the lost of this weight the fat that was covering my organs actually protecting them when off and the complications of a really bad endometriosis started..... after 5 surgeries the worst and last one 6 month ago now I feel great. I am ready to regain control of my life and continue my so wanted journey I'm 33 pounds away to get to my goal..... I only gain 8 pounds after all this.... this past week i lost 5 ..... Today I'm getting a fill that I hope will be the one that take me to my goal or at least close to it.... I hope to get lots of comfort and support........ here are some pictures from the before and after so far.

You look amazing! Like everything in life, the banded journey has its ups and downs but it sounds like you have gotten it all together despite your challenges. Kudos to you and good luck with the last few pounds. You can do it!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
