Gurgle Noise From Band After Fill

Recommended Posts

Every time I go get a fill, I get a weird gurgle noise every time I take a sip of Water or when I eat. It's been a continuous problem throughout my journey. I can still eat, so it's not from the band being too tight I guess. Anyone else has had a problem like this?

Yes I have had that problem, I even PB Water one time from gulping it down. So now I have learned to sip it. Also found its easier to drink room temp water rather than cold water. Hope this helps

I always gurgle the PA says I'm lucky because we know the Fluid is going through.

Sometimes it's air in the Band

I had my first fill yesterday and I'm gurgling like crazy, even after drinking Water. I was looking to see if it was normal as well. So far, it sounds pretty common.

Gurgling for me usually happens if my band is too tight.

I was just wanting to make a post myself about this because I have the same problem, I'm always afraid someone can hear me when I'm trying to drink something, does not seem to happen as much with warmer liquids, but cold liquids all of the time, may have to try to room temp suggestion above.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
