Liquid Diet

Recommended Posts

I had sugar free gum and hard candy. Be careful tho, the sugar free has sorbital (spelling) and that makes ya run to the bathroom. And on the liquid diet, you need no help in that area HA

Good Luck to you.

The liquid diet really isn't that bad. In fact, I lost most weigh post op while healing my stomach from surgery. It's a time where you (and here's where I get corny) find yourself liberating from food. I felt very empowered realizing I can do this.

PS - 2 favorite shakes are chocolate (powdered) powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury and GNC has a ready to drink Swiss chocolate.< /p>

If your doctor didnt give you details I would suggest you call him or speak to the nurse. it is really important to know what you doctor allows and doesnt allow. We all can give you suggestion and are glad to, but what matters most is you follow your doctor's rules.

Stay strong!

Thank you! I probably better call an find out just to be sure...

Best way to be sure.... I was allowed the Optifast shakes, caffeine free tea, Water, crystal light, and broth if I REALLY needed it. My excitement for those 2 weeks was the 25 calorie sugar free Popsicle I was allowed daily.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
