Plantar Fasciitis

Recommended Posts

not to scare you...but the only thing that made mine go away was surgery to "release" the tendon. I suffered with it a few years ago and after 3 painful shots of cortozone (in my foot--ouch) I decided to have surgery. It was amazing. The pain was gone and remains gone. I found nothing to relieve the pain.

Good luck to you.

I have Plantar Fasciitis in my right foot and its painful all the time. I have custom orthotics in my shoes and wear orthotic sandals all the time' date=' even around the house. I am a server/bartender so it flares up after/during each shift. I have night splints and arch support things that I've tried but they don't seem to help either. Plus my doctor says even walking will continue to irritate it so I guess they only exercise I can do is the elliptical. Anyone found anything that will help it go away?[/quote']

I have the same problem and what I do is take a bottle and fill it with Water and freeze it. Then while sitting down roll the bottle with your arch or does help with the pain.

So glad I stumbled onto this thread. In the past yeAr or so I have had worsening arch painbin my left leg. The pain was excruciating and the doc who made my orthotics was a moron and gave me inserts that are way too big to fit into my shoe. Now when I call him he refuses to return my calls :(

Anyhow, I'm gonna try the frozen waterbortle idea, but I think it will hurt too much :(

Working put has become such a disaster because I'm wincing I'm pain 99% of the time

I'm a nurse and never get to sit and my feet KILL at the end of the day. Haven't found any total relief but every night I massage them with my hands and a hand held massager and seems to help some. I also do the cold bottle thing.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
