Bloated/full Feeling?!?!

Recommended Posts

I'm hoping one of you may have an answer. I was banded 7 months ago haven't had a fill yet. Just recently I started getting a bloated full feeling like I can't take a deep breath. My dr ruled out h. pylori as that seems to be a to be a problem with me. It's worse while sitting and gets better when standing. Drinking/eating anything makes it worse

Maybe you should see a gynaecologist, bloating can be a sign of ovarian cancer so you should get that ruled out.

Hello. Sorry for how you are feeling. Just curiously, was it your PCP who ruled out h.pylori, and how is it ruled out (what tests are done)? Has your lap band surgeon done a barium swallow test to take a look at your band?

Does it resolve slowly, did he rule out bowel obstruction. Do you have diabetes? I would make an appt with surgeon to rule out band slippage.

Thanks all

I do have an appt with my OB-GYN because I'm not having periods. The h. pylori test is a breath test. I'm not diabetic. And I'll be calling my surgeon tomorrow. He wanted to rule out h. Pylori before I did a barium swallow/ endoscopy. For now I'm putting myself on full liquids.< /p>

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
