Woot Woot, Down Another Pant Size

Recommended Posts

Woot Woot, down another pant size I am in size 16 I am so excited. I did try on some of my old 14, I could get them fastened but my tummy hung over about 6 inches LOL, so I guess I will have to wait and try them on another day. I know this is not a life changing post but I am happy. Love my band. God bless

I have been feeling the same way. I've lost 15-20 lbs since pre op ( not sure of the difference between my scale and the Dr.s since my old one broke and I had to buy a new one.) But I have lost no inches in my waist. And that is a real downer! :( I just cant bring myself to understand how that's possible?

Please do not be discouraged it took quite a few pounds before I noticed it in my clothes, then it just happened, it will come -keep your chin up. In my country we say “keep your pecker up” pecker means chin. LOL

Congrats! You will notice that from hear on out you will be needing clothes more often. It was weird... for the first 100 I lost I was able to make do with most of my stuff with pins and creative solutions... Since everythng had elastic waists I could take inthe elastic basically. Those clothes were 3 on top and 4x on bottom.

But then when I got into XLs I noticed I started needing clothes sooner thank later but I was losing at the same pace. They say 20 lbs = a dress size... but that never held true when I was fat. But now... OMG is does! In June I was wearing medium tops and 14 bottoms thinking I was skinny as a rail. Ha! 2 months and 20 lbs later some of those mediums are too big and I am wearing sized 10 in pants. Go figure.

Best of luck on your continued journey B)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
