I'm going to say something a lot of dieters don't agree with but IMO: If you're not hungry, dont eat. Before being banded I didn't even really know what "hungry" felt like because I was fixated on eat

I agree - if you're not hungry don't eat. Eating just because some external stimulus such as the clock says you must is crazy. You should learn to eat when you are hungry .

you really do need to eat though... develop good eating habits. It would be far easier for you to have a small amount and chew well. If you do this you shouldnt have problems with getting stuck. . M
Since I've been banded in March I have noticed that I'm sometimes not in the mood to eat. I feel that most days I have to make myself eat but I will drink crystal light all day. Even before I got my surgery I never turned to food to make me happy or fix my problems! I just loved to eat! I come from a family of cooking folks! Sometime I forget to eat. I've been having some problems eating food lately and my best yet is to just stay away from it for I don't have to have that feeling of it getting stuck and having to throw up!
