I've been banded for a couple of months now!! I live in mastic if anyone needs support just someone to talk to about the lap-band if you have it of your think about getting it message me anytime:) Dr Allum is my dr but I also know some more dr that do the surgery. We all have to support each other this isn't easy.. My mom has had it for about 6 or 7 yrs now and my girlfriend just got it in feb. any questions comments anything I am here

I need a band buddy. It's important to stick together and learn that we aren't alone when it comes down to it. Just being each other motivation and what not keeping each other posting while dealing with this life change. Just send me a message telling me about yourself and your goals and what not. I must say myself that I look so good!! The fact that I went shopping for a swim suit and was able to find one was just amazing! I still have some way to go before I reach my goal but I'm taking my time and enjoying life more with this new change Bringing to where I'am now & still losing

I know what your feeling

I've had the lap-band since March of this year and I question having it everyday. Like did I make the right decision. I get frustrated when I can't eat simple things that should be able to go down don't. I wanna lose this weight so bad that I would go days without eating anything, But there are some days where I have to push myself to eat because I need to. I never been the type of person that was always eating but I do like to eat don't get me wrong. I am frustrated like hell when it comes to food to the point where I don't wanna eat at all.. I shouldn't go all day without eating but I get so tried of throwing up that I just say f**k it.& yes I will chew & chew and it still ends up coming back up. No my band isn't tight b/c if it was I wouldn't be able to drink everything.. I'm just venting. I'm just tried of buying food cooking it then I can't enjoy it b/c it comes back up. Just wanna throw in the towel with all the hard work & get this band removed and just be done with it but then I don't wanna be back where I started in the beginning. So I try to keep my eye on my goal even if it's hard as well..

This is for all my new yokers/ long island ppl who are banded.. looking for a lap band buddy all over the new york/long island area! I've been banded since March of this year and I just need a alittle motivation from time to time who doesn't so would love to hear from you
