How Long Does Hair Loss Last!?

Am just over two months post op and the hair loss is getting worse. I have been taking biotin and protein shakes. I have read on here that it grows back, but when!? I already have short hair and am worried sick!

Mine started around 3 months post op and lasted until about 6 months post op. I was told by my nurse that Biotin can take up to a year before you really notice results. I have been on it for at least a year now. I just had a tummy tuck a month ago, so I dont know if has helped or not yet.

I was banded feb. hair loss started in may. It was horrible I lost a lot of hair. It slowed when I added a pre-natal vitamin. I get enough protein. I take 5000mcg of biotin. I found a shampoo from TRESemme that's meant for hair loss. It works wonders. Noticed a difference in about a week (don't know why the bottle is in Spanish. Lol I bought it at Walmart)

Thanks for the tip! What kind of prenatal vitamin did u get? It won't get stuck right? I need to try it my hair loss has made my hair thinner. Yikes! I'm so bummed.

Nioxin shampoo..conditioner and scalp treatment are amazing products for thinning or hair loss...I use them in my salon...any change in diet.. meds..surgery or tramua can't reflect on ur hair and nails they are both made of keratin..deep conditions and keratin treatments are both great ideas to combat hair loss or breakage..Paul Mitchell has a wondeful line of Wild Ginger Keratin products

I started taking biotin 10000 mcg two weeks post OP along with my multi, b12 drops because hair loss is my biggest fear as I do hair I also use a high quality shampoo and conditioner and attempt getting 90 grams of protein a day from my protein shakes fingers crossed I don't get the hair loss...

So specific one. I just looked for a smaller pill and one with Iron. I read low iron can also cause hair loss.
