Being accountable.

I dont know where I read it but someone blogged about challenging people to stop lurking and blog about what you are doing; either daily or weekly or whatever helps to keep you honest.

I took that challenge up and some days I run late, but I try to post a weekly weigh in.(speaking of which, time to update my weigh in blog)

Even if you think no one reads it, make a promise to yourself no matter how many times you weigh yourself. Pick one day, that will be your "official" weight of the day and then post it. I have a small bit of pride that tells me to get off my duff and start being accountable for my health.

Here's one that many people might not like, but i'll try anyway:

GET A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP!

I know that when I'm overtired i'm cranky which causes me to get irritated and eat.

Also, when your overtired everything somehow seems like a mountain- including dieting!

sleep helps us stay healthy and our bodies burn calories/build muscle/rejuvenate while we sleep

So rest up and remember tomorrow is another day B)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
