I was able to drink more than the required amount of Water before I got banded on 7/26. After being banded, I struggle getting my required amount of water each day. It's very frustrating.

I hope this will go away soon. I like drinking my water. Anyone else had this happen?

I am having the same issue. I could drink so much more prior to surgery. My instructions say not to drink more than 8 ounces in an hour. I try very hard not to but I'll never get in all my liquids if that is the case. I'm lucky if I get 50oz in a day. Any secrets?

I would suggest carrying a water bottle and drinking at least a bottle between each meal. The first month was hard for me to get all the required Water in, but I can now. It may take some planning, but it can be done.

At first, it's difficult post op to drink all of the Water you're supposed to have. I've always enjoyed drinking Water, and really struggled with this the first few weeks. I had a difficult time remembering to both drink and eat.

I found it helpful to "structure" my time, so that every day before lunch I needed to have XX # of oz, then by mid-afternoon another 20oz...I still rely on that schedule to keep me on track to have at least 80 oz of water a day.

I also keep a bottle of water with me most all of the time, and sip from it frequently.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
