Best Tasting Protein Powder

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone. I'm just getting started with my lap band journey. My surgeon requires a 2 week liquid diet before surgery. I can't stand most Protein Drinks. Anyone have any suggestions on which ones taste the best.

I have tried several and found this one has the best taste plus nutrition: http://www.premiernutrition.com/protein-shake.html. I buy it by the case at costco. It is available in chocolate, vanilla (my favorite) and strawberry with 30g Protein, 160 calories, 1g sugar and low fat. I drink one for Breakfast everyday. If you don't like the taste of your Protein Shakes, try blending it with ice to make a slushy. Some people even add ice plus other things like fruit and/or yogurt to doctor up the taste. Good luck on your journey!

i use whey isolate from Walmart. 30 grams Protein per scoop (more if you add milk)

comes in many flavors. i love chocolate, Cookies and creme and the new one Peanut Butter chocolate. i put in freezer and get it to slush stages. couldnt have survived 4 weeks liquid w/o this, i still drink one shake a day, usually for breakfast. they are 14.99 per container.

I use Pure Protein Natural whey. The Vanilla Creme & Frosty chocolate are both tasty. I change up the flavor by adding a tsp of extract to mine. Coconut extract is especially good.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
