Sorry Guys! Spotting....

Recommended Posts

You mean spotting like your menstruating? I have opposite problem. I had surgery 4/20 and have not had a period. I think the surgery really did mess with the hormones.

Anytime I get into a hospital or have a procedure I will spot or get a period early. It can also work the opposite way, the anesthesia, the stress, all the flying hormones etc..

I was told by a nurse once that a large percentage of the women regardless when they hit the ICU or in hospital they start a period regardless of where they are in the cycle.

I would say do not stress, just go with the flow!!! (no pun intended) grin

it can also delay it for some due to the above.

Same things...also if you are on the pill and they gave you the anti-clotting shots, I have heard it makes the pill ineffective.

i am glad i found this post because i have an IUD in and never got a period until after the surgery. kind of blamed it on stress and the localized heperain that was given to me.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
