I have been out of town for 4 days and did great...until last night. I ordered room service (Soup and salad) and they included a roll. My will power went out the window. I ate the outside part of the roll that was a little crunchier to avoid the doughy part. I just have not felt great since...kinda full, kind of uncomfortable. But, my stomach will start growling as I get hungry. However, when I eat three or four bites and a feel like I ate a whole freaking watermelon.

I just took some gas x in hopes that it will help and I have tried drinking a hot liquid....I'm wondering what is going on and what I should do...and if anyone else has had this happen???

Ugh!!! After being do good and working out like crazy in the hotel gym, I gave in to a roll?????

I hope the terrible feeling has passed and you feel better. Whenever that happens to me I immediately stop eating and/or drinking and wait a few minutes for the feeling to pass. I used to swallow a GasX pill quickly with a sip of Water but sometimes I was afraid even to try a sip of water to get the pill down. You might be sensitive to the roll now, but may become more tolerant in the future. Remember, one roll is not a downfall and you will be right on track with the next meal and your usual good choices.

I do not think a part of roll would do anything to you. You have to see it for what is was . . . roll, not a cheesecake. Forgive yourself and move on. Most likey it is not the last roll you will meet! LOL

When you ate that bit of roll you may have irritated the band area a bit and you may be swollen now. That would explain why when you get hungry again later you fill up super quick. It may take a few days for your belly to calm down again.

You're a human being. A roll... if that's cheating, then you're doing pretty dang well!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
