Kinda Sick To My Stomach/concerned

took my levonox shot tonight and for the first time, it made me sick to my stomach. made me feel like i was going to throw up.

dr had prescribed me tablets for anti nausa to put on my tongue which i did, and i am feeling better.

if i do throw up, will that hurt my new band??

am kinda concerned.

I don't know, but you need to be careful. Keeping taking the anti nausea until you feel better.

I unfortunately did throw up once the day after I got banded. Luckily it did not hurt my band but I was told if a person throws up enough it can mess up the band. Definitely stay on your nausea meds. I spent my second day very nauseous but then the next day I felt much better.

Yes, take care against throwing up so soon after surgery. There is no reward for being a tough nut and not taking your anti-nausea meds, only possible issues if you do throw up.

Don't take the shot on an empty stomach.

Take it after you have eaten and that should help.
