  2. Yes it is!! I still can't believe it!! I love the new me and I have absolutely no regrets with my band :-)
  3. Only problem is I've been in the mindset of losing for sooooo long I almost feel lost now knowing I just need to maintain instead of lose more.
  4. Thank you everyone I love the new me. The other day my mom told me " you got your happy back". I've been told I'm more outgoing now too. I started out as a size 28 in pants and I kept those pants so I have something to compare to.
  5. Just wanted to let everyone know that a couple days ago I met my goal weight and I'm soooooo happy!! I'm down 152 pounds total and 138 pounds since surgery. I had my surgery 13 months ago. I now am down to 140 pounds and a size 8. Yay!! My husband also had the lap band done and I get to support him now. :-)
  6. I didn't have any catheter with my surgery. I didn't know anyone did since its such a short procedure. I didn't have one with my gallbladder either.
  7. I determined mine by my "healthy" BMI weight
  8. The gummy probiotics I bought at Walgreens. I was also told to do miralax or stool softeners but even taking stool softeners everyday I wasn't going but like once a week and that was even hard to do. Once I switched to the probiotics I haven't had any problems with going and its not hard at all its like its supposed to be. There are also probiotic pills but I was unsure of how big the pills were so I went with gummies.

  10. Yes I had problems with constipation until I found probiotic gummies and now I go every day with no problems.
  11. I had the lap band with plication and I absolutely love it. I have no regrets at all. It's been a year and 3 days that I've had my band And I've lost 130 in that amount of time. I'm only 8 pounds from my goal weight.
  12. I have had gallbladder surgery and an egd with no unfill. I didn't have a whole lot in my band at the time though.
  13. I chose it because its the least invasive of the surgeries.
  14. I take fiber gummies and gummy probiotics now and i go everyday at least once a day. I also used to struggle with constipation. I used to take stool softeners everyday at first and they didn't work for me so I started the fiber and probiotics and man they work.
  15. I've never been told that lettuce is off limits once able to eat solid foods.

  17. To me the band recovery was waaaaaay worse I couldn't hardly move for about 3 days after. My gallbladder removal recovery really wasn't bad at all.
  18. I'm not in okc but I'm in Tulsa and I see dr Atkins ad he is awesome.
  19. I take melatonin it's over the counter and works very well for me.
  20. My dr requires a full liquid diet for 48hrs after a fill every doctor is different but most if not all require a liquid diet of some sort right after a fill

  24. When I was first healing after surgery I felt it but now I'm a year you and I don't notice it at all until I'm eating.
