Nsv And Major Goal Accomplished

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I went on a roller coaster and I fit without any help from the attendents! Just 7 short months ago I could get on the coaster but It took a lot of pushing on the lap bar and the buckle was strecthed to the max! Not anymore!! The lap bar went down and closed with plenty of room to spare! As I was sitting waiting for the ride to start I could feel the tears of joy! This was a big goal of mine and I accomplished it! This has also given me the motivation I needed to get these last 40 pounds off!! I LOVE MY BAND!!!!!!!!!

what an awesome victory for you! I know right now I fear the amusement parks for that reason... others just don't understand until they have been there!!! Congrats on such a wonderful reason for tears!!!

Very cool! I have never had that happen to me, but my son(who had surgery in Aug 2011) had to not ride Harry Potter at Universal Studios, but has since gone back and ridden it! Congrats for your NSV!!Karen

Congratulations! Not sure that I will ever be brave enough to actually ride a rollercoaster but at least now it is an option for both you and I.

That's so exciting! We took our daughter to an amusement park this past weekend and I just kept thinking about coming back next summer when I'll be small enough to ride the rides.....can't wait!!!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
