It almost sounds like you either took too large of a bite or ate something to fast...maybe?? Are you eating too much? Does it happen when you are drinking? Sometimes if my drinks are too big and fast i get pressure in my chest... hard to say, without a little bit more info...sorry

If it's after you eat (up to 3 hours), it could be food sitting in your esophagus waiting for it's turn to go through the band. Just eat smaller amounts. If it's not food related, go see your doctor and describe it because they'll probably able to pinpoint it a lot faster because they've go the MD.

Silly question....Have you eaten avacodos before? I love them, but every time I eat them, i get that feeling you're talking about. The discomfort isn't worth it to me. :(

I get that all the time and it is heart burn. Best to do 2 days of mushies & liquids and this can reset your band and calm things down. Kind of like a computer reboot :). Also I chew on Gelisul they work great too! Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
